Excursion for the family to the Wildlife Park Zurich Langenberg
Wildlife Park Zurich Langenberg. When the sun is burning, it is super pleasant in the forest. At the Wildlife Park, you’ll find nice shady spots to linger or picnic. With a little luck, visitors can even watch the bear couple bathing.
Journey with the family
The wildlife park is easily accessible by public transport or by car. Although the train station is a bit out of the way, it’s a quick walk or bus ride.
When the weather is nice, the wild boars like to lie in the sun. The bears treat themselves to a swim in the water and ibex graze in the nearby meadow from time to time. Even frogs croak happily.
In addition to the restaurant, there is also a large playground where children can play. When it is really warm, young and old enjoy an ice cream or a cake and coffee in the restaurant. The garden tables and chairs next to the fireplace invite to family celebrations. Children’s birthday parties or a cozy get-together make the children’s eyes shine.
Information stands satisfy the questions of children hungry for knowledge. With a bit of luck, we caught the attention of a staff member who explained the horns of the ibexes. Wow are they heavy and long.
On the way back we walked along the Sihl river to finish the excursion. The path leads to the Allmend. Of course, there are always stops along the way, so the excursion can be interrupted at any time. The Sihltalbahn train goes directly to the main station in Zurich. Be sure to study the timetable beforehand, as announced construction work may interrupt the route.
