The region also offers cultural diversity, which you can enjoy during your skiing experience. The Disentis ski area is a real insider tip for freeriders and snowboarders. The ski area offers variety for all members of the family. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The SkiArena Andermatt-Sedrun is the largest ski area in Central Switzerland with over 120 kilometers of pistes and 22 lifts. It extends up to the Gemsstock at almost 3,000 meters above sea level, over the Schneeh\u00fcenerstock (2,600 m above sea level) and the Oberalp Pass to Sedrun and Disentis in Grisons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Disentis is an excellent destination for family ski vacations! Below are a few points that we consider to be family-friendly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Children’s ski schools: There are ski schools in Disentis that are specially geared towards children. Here the little ones can learn to ski in a playful way and improve under professional guidance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Family-friendly infrastructure: The region has child-friendly facilities such as children’s parks, conveyor belts and special family slopes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Winter magic away from the slopes: In addition to skiing, Disentis also offers other activities such as snowshoeing, tobogganing and leisurely walks through the snow-covered landscape.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Atmosphere and hospitality: Disentis is known for its warm hospitality. The family atmosphere ensures that everyone feels at home.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    The lighthouse<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    The lighthouse is located on the Oberalp Pass in the canton of Graub\u00fcnden. Its base is at an altitude of 2,046 meters above sea level. Originally, the lighthouse was designed as a tourist attraction, together with a real ship. However, the ship has not yet arrived, so the lighthouse waits patiently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Visitors can purchase a lighthouse key, which not only opens the door to the lighthouse, but also the gateway to an extraordinary object. With a donation of CHF 100, you will receive this key and support the operation and maintenance of the only lighthouse in the Alps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    All we can say is pack your ski equipment and get going. Even if the snow conditions are rather modest this year, a trip to the mountains is always worthwhile. The OllO World team wishes you a pleasant stay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
