Excursion to Glenfinnan and Fort William. We also took a trip to Glenfinnan and Fort William from Edinburgh. I have enjoyed the trip in the footsteps of Harry Potter and James Bond very much. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Glenfinnan<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Glenfinnan is a small village in the Lochaber region of the Scottish Highlands. It is known for its history as an important port of Edinburgh and has many historic buildings and sights to offer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fort William<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Fort William is a town in the Scottish Highlands. Here are some of the cool places:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Ben Nevis:<\/strong> Ben Nevis is the highest mountain in the UK and a great place for hiking and climbing. <\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Old Inverlochy Castle:<\/strong> Old Inverlochy Castle is a 13th century castle and a historic site. We learned a lot about the history of the region.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Neptune’s Staircase:<\/strong> Neptune’s Staircase is a lock staircase on the Caledonian Canal. There is a walkway along the water. Visitors can walk here and enjoy the scenery.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. West Highland Museum:<\/strong> The West Highland Museum shows the history and culture of the region. There are many exhibitions and artifacts about Fort William and the Highlands.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. Glenfinnan Viaduct: <\/strong>The Glenfinnan Viaduct is a famous railroad bridge featured in the Harry Potter films. Railroad fans and Harry Potter fans alike are on hand to snap the best photos. The Hogwarts Express runs from April to October. We took beautiful pictures also in winter.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
