Hiking around lake Hallwil<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Round hike Lake Hallwil. I wanted to hike around Lake Hallwil for a long time. The perfect day for me was a day after the rain. So the plants showed their best side and it was not super hot yet. Nevertheless, there were stretches where the sun burned down quite a bit. My tip, always keep a sun hat handy, because the round trip takes about 5 hours.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seengen as starting point<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

I chose Seengen as the starting point for the circular route. From there I walked in the direction of the Hallwyl moated castle. Although I was on the way early, there were already bathers in the women’s and men’s baths in Seengen. The two wooden houses are located a few meters from each other directly on the lake. Everyone meets again in the water covered with water lilies. The place is very romantic I think. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hallwyl Castle<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

On the forecourt of the moated castle there is a medieval village during the summer months. In the village the life of past times is relived. Interested people can book a place in a tent there. The summer event is in great demand and the places are quickly taken. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A short time later I unfortunately have to leave the pleasant lakeside path and walk along the field. After about 20 minutes the hiking trail leads back to the lake. Too bad, because the sun burns particularly strong here.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The route to Mosen runs along the water. Trees line the path and the natural shade is wonderful. Again and again I pass benches. Smaller and larger bathing establishments also provide opportunities to cool off. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Aesch and Fahrwangen<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In Aesch and Fahrwangen the circular path swings away from the water again. Here, too, the sun is blazing. But it is an ideal bike path. Unfortunately I don’t have mine with me. Only shortly before Meisterschwanden I come back down to the lake. If you are hungry or thirsty, you can take a break in the Standbad or in the restaurant. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Shipping<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

On the next trip I would take the boat from Aesch to Meisterschwanden or Seengen and do the more boring part on the water. However, if you want to be sporty, you can go jogging and or brisk walking around the lake. After 4-5 hours <\/p>\n\n\n\n
