Mol\u00e9son most popular mountain of the Fribourg people<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Hike on the Mol\u00e9son. The Mol\u00e9son is said to be the most popular mountain of the Fribourg Alps. We wanted to check this out and hiked up the Mol\u00e9son. Starting point is the station Mol\u00e9son-sur-Gruy\u00e8res. From here, it’s a steep climb. Wow, that is exhausting! It’s 2002 meters in altitude to the summit. In winter, the mountain turns into the largest ski resort in the area. This is a trump card for the area, because visitors can find great excursion opportunities in winter as well as in summer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Panoramic view <\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Before we tackle the steep climb, we treat ourselves to a coffee at the Buvette du Gros Plan\u00e9. If you are daring, you can already order a fondue here. Made from milk from the in-house cows. But before the ascent, such heavy food is not for us. Drenched in sweat we arrived at the top. The climb was worth it. The panoramic view is unique. In good weather, the view is phenomenal. From Lake Geneva to the mountains in the Bernese Oberland and from Mont Blanc to the Jura, the view is breathtaking. I can’t resist and capture the moment on my cell phone. There is a platform at the top station. From there we have the best view. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Actually, we are thirsty and less hungry. So we hardly believe our eyes when we see guests on the terrace of the restaurant who actually like to eat a fondue in this warmth. Well I tend rather to a cooling with ice cubes. Cheers!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ride with the cable car<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

After the steep climb, we decided to take the cable car down. Now we can enjoy the view from the gondola again. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who has never been on the Mol\u00e9son? Maybe this would be a nice excursion during the heat in the cities. The OllO World team had a great time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
