Now that heat records are being broken everywhere, the temperature at Lake Sarnen is pleasant. Of course for our conditions the sun is beating down, but in contrast to the Mediterranean it is almost paradisiacal.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Along the Sarnersee, Sachseln<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Our walk starts in Giswil. It takes us a few minutes to reach the lake. We take the path towards Sachseln. From here on I find the hike exciting. From Sachseln on, trees line the path and there are several bathing possibilities. We find the bathing establishment in Sachseln super cool. It is small and nice. The integrated restaurant invites you to take a break. A cool drink and a jump into the water is now urgently needed. That&#8217;s why I recommend to pack your swimming trunks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"768\" src=\"https:\/\/olloworld.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/IMG_4039-1024x768.jpg\" alt=\"Seewanderung Giswil - Sarnen\" class=\"wp-image-4010\" srcset=\"https:\/\/olloworld.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/IMG_4039-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/olloworld.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/IMG_4039-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/olloworld.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/IMG_4039-1536x1152.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/olloworld.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/IMG_4039-2048x1536.jpg 2048w, https:\/\/olloworld.com\/magazine\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/IMG_4039-300x225@2x.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>On we go. On this part the path impresses with the old bath houses. Unfortunately, these are privately owned and closed with a door. Benches are scattered on the meadow. It is located directly on the lake and has a swimming pool in addition to the lake. The location is also captivating because of the old trees that provide natural shade. The restaurant is a meeting place for hikers. The next cooling down comes very handy for us. The kids love this place, so I definitely recommend packing a bathing suit, sun hat and sunscreen. The Cold Brew with oranges is a hit and insider tip.
