Is Turin the little sister of Milan or rather the other way around? Turin is a wonderful city for a weekend visit. From Zurich it is only about 5 hours by train. There are enough museums. Many are so interesting that you can easily spend 2 hours to visit all the rooms and floors. Accordingly, they are also popular with tourists. Therefore, I recommend to order tickets in advance, so that the annoying queuing can be avoided.

Mole Antonelliana

The mole Antonelliana is the landmark and also the largest tower in Turin. The film museum is also integrated in the building. The elevator takes you to the observation deck. Wow, is that an awesome view over the city. Inside the tower you can dive into the film world of the past.

Monte dei Cappuccini

We wanted to photograph the tower still in a skyline. For hours you can walk along the Po River and pass by various sights. Valentino Castle is now the Faculty of Architecture and the building was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1997. A little further is the entrance to the Burgo y Roca Medieval, an ancient historical town recreated from the 15th century.
