City trip to Salzburg. Salzburg is a beautiful city with many activities. The city is full of history and has so many picturesque streets and squares. The old town is very centrally located and is great to explore on foot. Some of the most famous sights are the Mirabell Palace, the Hohensalzburg Fortress and the Mozart Birthplace. If you like hiking, you should definitely visit the Kapuzinerberg or the Mönchsberg. The mountains offer an impressive view of the city and the surrounding mountains.
If you like shopping, you should definitely visit Getreidegasse. The shopping street with great stores is popular and well known.
Dom Quartier in Salzburg
The Dom Quartier is a unique cultural attraction in the heart of the historic center of Salzburg. It consists of the Hohensalzburg Residence and Fortress, as well as the Benedictine Monastery of St. Peter. On our tour of the center, we experienced a varied tour of history and architecture with beautiful art treasures.
Food and drink
If you know and like Austrian cuisine, you’ll find beautiful cafes in Salzburg for coffee and cake. After a tour of the area, a break is always welcome.
